COMPOSITION
The impact modifier is core-shell structure, and utilized for plastics. The core layer absorbs stress to provide impact resistance, and the shell layer increases compatibility with the matrix. It’s copolymerized from butadiene, styrene, acrylic monomer, ect. Different composition improves impact resistance of products with different needs.
FEATURE
Impact modifier is suitably utilized for rigid, semi-rigid PVC products with its excellent processing. It’s also used to modify engineering plastics. The products can be divided into general purpose (M series), weatherability (A series) and silicone-acrylic type (K series), and the M series can be subdivided into 5 categories according to transparency and impact strength.
ADVANTAGE
M-series (general impact modifier)
  1. Provide high impact resistance.

  3. High compatibility with PVC and additives.
  4. Low stress whitening.
  5. Odorless.
  6. Apply suitably for processing (ex: calender, extruding and injection-molding products).
  7. Excellent thermal stability.
A-series (impact modifier for high weatherability)
  1. Excellent weatherability.
  2. Provide high impact resistance.
  3. Make product surface smooth.
  4. High compatibility with PVC and additives.
  5. Improve melting flowability, used suitably for injection-molding products.
  6. Excellent thermal stability.
K-series (silicone-acrylate impact modifier)
  1. Excellent weatherability.
  2. Make product surface smooth.
  3. High impact resistance, especially at low temperature.
  4. Good dispersibility for processing.
  5. Apply suitably for for general and engineering plastic.

NO Feature Use
K-210 K-210 is silicone-acrylate copolymer. It’s high effiency and low temperature property by producing silicone and acrylate rubber. In the meantime, it has special characteristic as redardant which other impact modifier don’t have.It’s used for General Plastics and Engineering Plastics (usually used in PC, PC alloy). According to well dispersion in resin, it can improve the impact strength, surface appearance, get excellent weather resistance, good processing performance, high productivity, etc. Electronic products, luggage, decorative materials, etc.
